Alvéolo is Spanish for alveolus — the tiny structures deep within the lungs where exchange with the surrounding environment takes place. It feels very aligned with Lorenzo Pepe’s scientific, biological and slightly mysterious naming language.

A sculptural ring crafted in bronze, conceived as a large organic flower emerging from the depths of the lung. Its open, irregular form recalls an alveolus—a living structure designed to receive, absorb and exchange with its surroundings.

The ring expands outward like something caught between a flower and an internal organ: opening itself to the environment while simultaneously projecting from within. Its deeply textured surface and green-blue patina reinforce the sense of a living form that has grown naturally rather than been constructed.

Bold and intensely organic, the Alvéolo Ring explores the relationship between inside and outside, absorption and release, growth and exchange.
